Michael, the Head of Training of a technology giant had the responsibility of developing a Global Training programme for CIOs of tech companies, for which he needed in-depth, credible understanding of Asian CIOs and their learning needs. He needed to get this ready within the next 12 weeks. He called Insights & More in the hope of a solution. We had the right experience and understanding to provide a turnkey solution.
Insights & More devised a simple methodology to carry out the task. We identified a cross section of IT firms which were contacted with Michael’s help. We conceptualized the discussion guide and went on to interview 30 CIOs across Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines and Singapore. Basis our conversations, we identified frustrations, mindsets and learning gaps for the different cross sections of companies. We were also able to profile the CIOs for their learning needs basis the background of their companies. Apart from the report, we delivered useful recommendations on how to make the learning programs more effective. Michael was able to turn in a suitably impressive report in time and was impressed with our ability to bring in structured thinking in a domain where “no data was available.”
